Welcome! My name is Malachi, but I usually go by "Xavier" as an alias for my artist name (it's my middle name, if you're wondering where it came from). I am a visual, musical, and literary artist, pursuing and experimenting with anything I come across to. I am 18 years old, and I live in New York (I plan to move soon). I am also about to graduate high school and move on to college, which I plan on going to Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
I have many artistic influences, but my main influences for visual arts are Tracy Yardley, Bowie, Yuji Uekawa, and of course, a few others. For musical arts, Deftones, Led Zeppelin, Coheed & Cambria, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and Alice In Chains seem to influence me the most, but I tend to differ a lot to their sounds so I am happy about that. Literary influences, I really do not have any, I like certain authors like Stephen King, my friend Charlie, and another good friend named Ian, but I really have no influences. I just write anything that comes into mind, and that sounds perfect to me.
I was born in New Jersey, lived there a few weeks before moving to Pennsylvania, where I grew up the majority of my life right now. I then, moved all around after my parents split and certain conflicts occurred, and eventually ended up here in New York. If there are any certain characteristics I would not mind sharing, they would be that I'm tall, I'm rather big, but not morbidly obese, I started growing a beard at 13 and can grow a full beard now, I have thick hair, and I have been described as a "bear" or "teddy bear" by most people (which I feel entitled about it).
Anyway, I really hope you all enjoy my page, I am not special, but I try my best. I am often told that I have "potential," but I do not know, that is for me to decide in the future because people get better and eventually, something will spark.
I'm never at a 100% happy state, unfortunately. I'm either somewhat happy, mostly happy, or not happy. It is either because I have lost something, or my depression, so please do not worry if I just start posting vent art. It is just a healthy way of coping for me.
